Experiencing Belonging

How do you (or might you) help an individual entering an evironment to experience the sense that they belong in that particular environment?

Check out the message entitled "Revolutions" by Thom Black from the Barna Group. This has challenged me to think further about inreach versus outreach - not necessarily in those terms. It prompts further thought on how to make disciples of people who may never enter a church building.

Then, think about this: When and where does discipleship begin? Does a disciple start their journey before they even enter the church building? Before they're baptized? Before they even know that they're headed toward God?
